Clean3 Bio-degreasing technology launched in the UK
Pexa Ltd the specialist materials supplier has linked up with Clean3 Bio Systems, the leader in biological degreasing technology to launch its Clean3 machine to UK industry. Clean3 was voted "Eco-product of the year" 2001/2 in France. Clean3 fully complies with the new UK and EU solvent emission legislation for surface cleaning (PG6-45).
The Clean3 allows efficient cleaning and degreasing of all types of parts with no emissions to air, no hazardous materials and no waste stream of contaminated solvents. The Clean3 contains "Cleanbooster" - a pH neutral detergent cleaner, which is kept a controlled temperature for maximum efficiency. The Clean3 pumps the Cleanbooster through a hand held brush, which is used to clean the part. The dirty Cleanbooster stream then passes through a 2-stage filter to remove large dirt particles.
Now the really clever part.
The Clean3 houses a biological filter containing specially harvested bacteria, which consume the oil and grease contamination from the dirty Cleanbooster. This means that the cleaner is returned to the tank clean and can be re-circulated to clean the next part. The only by-products are water and CO2. The filter cannot be blocked and there is no water supply to the Clean3 or waste stream from it. As the fluid is kept fully clean, the efficiency of the cleaning is not reduced over time by the fluid becoming over used and dirty. The electronic control panel monitors the machine and provides instant information on status via an LED display.
The Clean3 is a well-constructed (in thermoplastic resin), high quality machine and has an optional "Cleanret" bunding platform and stainless steel work surface for larger parts. The Clean3 is available to purchase or on a full service contract with a monthly charge to include all servicing, spares, repairs and consumables. (294 words).
