Pexa appointed UK & Ireland Distributor and Service Partner for Spraylat's Electronic Materials Group - 01/02/08
Pexa the Yorkshire, UK based specialist coatings distributor has been appointed as UK & Ireland stockist and distributor for Spraylat's range of highly conductive coatings. Spraylat is a World leader in the supply of these products which utilise silver and copper pigmentation to deliver very high levels of conductivity at very low layer thicknesses.
Applications include EMI/RFI shielding for electronic and telecoms equipment as well as applications on printed circuit boards and for protection against lightning strike. The appointment of Pexa will provide local technical support and rapid delivery service for Spraylat's products. According to Jim Rowbotham, Managing Director of Pexa - "Spraylat's highly conductive coatings lead the industry in technical performance at low thicknesses. Spraylat already supply many of the UK's leading companies in the electronics sector and with our local capabilities we expect a high level of demand for these technologies from UK and Ireland based companies who need to deal with today's increasingly demanding requirements for EMI/RFI shielding. Organic coatings allow a high level of flexibility in meeting geometry requirements for moulded plastic parts and can be relatively easily retrofitted to existing designs". In addition to its own customers Pexa will provide a logistics service to Spraylat for service of its international direct clients in the UK & Ireland.
