mantapac - Special Packaging Solutions
We pack paints, coatings, adhesives, solvents and other chemical products into small containers suited to the end user's application. Our customers are product users who wish to have an economic quantity of product, pre measured and at the correct ratio, ready for use when and where they need it.
We also work with product manufacturers who wish to offer their own customers these benefits.
We identify, design and produce tailor made packs to accommodate a wide variety of products. They are designed with the end use in mind and we try to anticipate the end user's needs when designing the dispensing and/or application method.
Our systems are designed to handle chemical products and our quality systems take care of batch number, traceability and shelf life issues.
We are approved to ISO 9001, EN AS 9120 and by major design engineers in the aerospace and defence industry such as BAE Systems, Airbus UK, Thales and Raytheon.
Our packaging centre uses volumetric filling machines made to precision tolerances in the UK. We can accurately and repeatable fill quantities from 1 - 250ml with a single dose.
We can include nitrogen gas which prevents the contents from deteriorating and allows us to extend the shelf life.
We are flexible and try to meet our customers' needs for small or large batches and packing in accordance with the customer's needs. That can be as single units, polythene bag in box or complete IATA approved boxed with all the relevant labels. We have fully IATA qualified packaging specialists in house to take care of any requirement.
Paints and Coatings
We fill paints and surface coatings into a wide variety of special packaging, specifically designed for these products. We handle both solvent and water borne products and can pack quantities starting from 5ml.
We can pack single component and multiple component products into a selection of packing. We control quantities and mixing rations to a high degree of accuracy. Traceability is assured though our aerospace approved quality management system. We label with batch number and shelf life.
Products can be packed with or without the addition of nitrogen to prolong the shelf life.
We pack paint products for a number of blue chip clients for industries including aerospace, marine and rail and we have a fully flexible approach to meeting our customers' needs.
Adhesives
We pack free flowing epoxy and polyurethane adhesives and resins into a range of multi-component twin packs.
Solvents and Fluids
We can handle flammable and hazardous solvents and pack these into a range of tailor made packs from 1ml to 20 Litres depending on our customer's needs.
The mantapac Product Range
Burst Packs (2 or 3 component)
These packs comprise either a clear film or aluminium foil pouch with a burstable internal seal. The components are kept separate until the point of use when the seal can be broken and the components mixed together. The mixing ratio and volumes are strictly controlled and traceability is assured by our quality management system.
We can package the burstpack inside an outer aluminium foil pouch for further protection and we can include dessicant packs or nitrogen as part of that process.

Clip Packs (multi component)
These packs comprise either a clear film or aluminium foil pouch with an external clip(s) which separates the pouch into compartments. The components are kept separate until the point of use when the clip(s) can be removed and the components mixed together. The mixing ratio and volumes are strictly controlled and traceability is assured by our quality management system.

Dual Cartridges
Our 50ml dual cartridges are available in polypropylene or nylon (for increased fluid resistance). We offer 4 standard mix ratios to accommodate a variety of 2 component materials.
The product is dispensed by hand or using a dispensing gun, we supply static mixing nozzle to mix the 2 components before use.
Kitten®
Our own special pack for 2 component products. The hardener stays in the top compartment until needed, when a turn of the lid opens the internal valve and lets it mix with the base component.
Ideally suited to quantities of 90-150ml the Kitten® is a unique solution to instant product availability with no measuring of components.
Special Packs
We have a full range of small metal and plastic containers approved for paints and solvents. We can fill any combination of these with products and pack them together as kits.
For example a repair kit can contain:
- 2 component epoxy primer with 350ml base in a 500ml tin plus 125ml hardener in a 125ml tin.
- 2 component polyurethane topcoat with 500ml base in a 1 litre tin plus 250ml hardener in a 250ml tin plus 250ml hardener in a 250ml tin.
The hardener and thinner can be decanted directly into the headspace in the base material and mixed together.
In the kit we can place brushes, rollers, roller trays, gloves, masks, sandpaper, mixing sticks, product data sheets and msds.
Pouches
We can fill any fluid product into a tailor made aluminium foil pouch. These can have tear off notches for easy opening.
Ideal for odd measures where standard tins and bottles do not accommodate the precise volume.
Any quantity can be delivered from one to a million.
Pens & Squeeze tubes
We can fill small or large fibre tipped pens with single component paints or with solvents. For thickened paints our squeeze tube is suitable.
