Pexa celebrates a perfect score

Pexa is proud to announce that it is living up to its ambition to have happy customers. The leading supplier of high technology materials to the aerospace and defence industries scored a perfect result in its recent ISO9120 audit and virtually every customer queried was happy with the service provided by the Yorkshire based firm, in its 2010 Customer Satisfaction survey.

Having been audited last month by EQA, Pexa was re-accredited under the Aerospace Scheme meeting the requirements of the Standard UNE-EN 9120:2006. A score of 100% was awarded, with the strong points being noted as internal audit, involvement of staff and management activity. The main areas in which Pexa was tested were those of management responsibility, and product management.

The annual Customer Satisfaction Survey also yielded a pleasing result from those who participated. Focusing on delivery, enquiry response, availability of stock, technical advice and product quality, customers were asked to rate these areas from poor to excellent and to leave a comment in order to acquire a deeper insight into the customers’ opinion of Pexa. The response was very positive, especially in the areas of product quality and enquiry response, which resulted in more than half of respondents stating that Pexa is "excellent". These two areas were the most improved from last year’s results. Three lucky respondents won prizes from a draw of the returned questionnaires.

This outcome highlights the strengths of Pexa and its commitment to its customers as well as its contribution to the industry. Managing Director, Jim Rowbotham, is naturally delighted with the scores and explains, "Our company policy is very simple, we help our customers to achieve their objectives. We have to check how we are doing and take every opportunity to improve. The external audit and the Customer Survey are very important to us in achieving this".
